Responding to Serious Work Incidents

In Australia 220 workers were killed at work in 2010/11*.
Serious injury in Australian workplaces in 2010/11 was 12.2 per 1000 workers. Manufacturing, Transport and Storage industries have serious injury rates of over 20 per 1000*. This means that a workplace of 100 workers; and a manufacturing, transport or storage workplace with just 50 workers can expect to have a serious injury this year.
